Our policies

Booking, cancelling, the sauna rooms and phones, in plain words.

Booking and deposits

Book online or by phone. A card may be asked to hold a table, and the booking page says so before you confirm.

Canceling and running late

Please let us know a day ahead if you need to move or cancel, so someone else can have the table. If you are running late, call us; a late start may mean a shorter session.

If you miss an appointment

If you miss a booking without telling us, we may ask for a card to hold your next one. Call as early as you can and we will find another time.

Children and companions

The scrub, massage and sauna rooms are for ages 18 and over. Children can't wait in the rooms; a companion is welcome to wait at the front desk.

Patch tests and allergies

A scrub needs no patch test. If you have sensitive skin or an allergy, tell us when you book, and we will check the clay mask or any product add-on with you first.

If you're not happy

Tell your attendant during the session, or the front desk before you leave, and we will adjust the pressure or the area. If something is still wrong afterward, write to us within a week and we will make it right.

Tipping

Tips are welcome and never expected. They go to the person who looked after you.

Using the thermal areas

The sauna rooms are for ages 18 and over. Wear the plain top and shorts from the front desk, and take a towel to sit on. If you are pregnant, have a heart condition, or have been told to take care with heat, ask your doctor first. Leave a room if you feel dizzy or unwell.

Phones and quiet

Phones stay in your locker or on silent at the front desk. They are not used in the rooms, the scrub room or the lounge, and photos are not taken anywhere past the entrance.

Undressing and draping

For a massage, you undress to your comfort and stay covered by a sheet, and only the area being worked on is uncovered. For the scrub, you wear the disposable underwear we give you, or a swimsuit.
